THE RIGHT-SIZED COMPANY Craftsman Tool & Mold with a 38,000 square-foot air-conditioned plant, is not a "little shop." But by employee count and size alone, we aren't the "biggest shop" either. Rather our size is just right-right for being attentive to our clients' needs, right for spending more time delegating and right for completing projects on schedule and delivering them on time.

But performance is more than a word at Craftsman Tool & Mold. We have the CNC machines, skilled employees and computerized programming necessary to construct the largest, smallest, and most complex high precision custom mold bases. We also offer a wide range of special machining and gun drilling capabilities.

Our customers include but are not limited to plastic injection mold builders for the automotive, appliance, medical, electrical, photographic and cosmetic industries. We are proud that customers like these and many others have specified Craftsman Tool & Mold since our company was founded in January, 1965.

CRAFTSMAN LEADERSHIP

Craftsman Tool & Mold's management team (l to r) Tony Sikorcin, Jeff Nowicki and Wayne Sikorcin, with experience in the mold building industry since 1960, provide the engineering know-how customers demand and appreciate. Together this team has constructed our company small enough to be responsive, and large enough to meet requirements for custom, complex machining projects.

We believe our unique balance, or combination, of skill and technology makes us special. Our people have the field experience to know what our customers want, and the technology we need to get results.

This is especially evident in our special machining. Here, our results-oriented combination of talent and precision equipment is making Craftsman Tool & Mold a partner in the most advanced programs in modern science. For example, Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory called on us to cut precise stainless parts (60 x 120) , for a state-of-the-art variable energy proton synchrotron ( a therapy proton accelerator) to treat cancer at a leading national university medical center. We are proud of our role in this historic contribution to medical science.

Many of our customers' special projects, like the Fermi project, utilize our Mitsubishi Vertical Bridge (M-VB16) precision miller shown on this page. It features X-Y-Z axes with inductsyn feedback to all axes for greater precision. Our equipment on these pages underscores our commitment to excellence that makes our company a valuable resource for every advanced technology special machining requirement.
